Mounting Your NSU Network Drives

Open a web browser. You will be redirected to the following login page. Log in.

In Finder, click the Go menu. Choose Connect to Server.

To connect to your personal drive (your L: drive in Windows), type in smb://student/userid replacing userid with your NSU username. Then click Connect.

After you click Connect, you will be prompted for your username and password. Under Workgroup or Domain enter NT-NSU. Under Name enter your NSU username. Under Password enter your password. Then click OK.

Your personal drive is now mounted and can be accessed via an icon in your desktop.

To connect to the Transfer drive (your I: drive in Windows), open the Connect to Server dialog as above. Type in the address smb://student/transfer and click Connect.

You will be prompted for your username as password again (as above). After you have entered everything and clicked OK, the transfer drive will appear on your desktop.

When you wish to disconnect a network drive, right-click or control-click its icon and choose the Eject option.
