Posted 08/04/05 As a result of conversations after the Oracle Meeting, we have created a new webpage 'NSU Instance Status' to enable everyone on the NSU Team to see at a glance the availability of the Oracle instances. We have included the actual links to each instance so that if we change the location of any of the instances this page will link to the new location. As we perform system maintenance, patches, etc., this page will be where we will show upcoming outages and notifications. As you will see on the new page, the TEST instance is currently unvailable. If you have any other suggestions for items to put on this page, please don't hesitate to contact us. Posted 08/18/04 Excel spreadsheets on iProjects that are used for NSU QuickTest data loading should allow the end users to change values in the spreadsheets to accurately reflect NSU required parameters. However, there are columns in the spreadsheets that either are not used by QuickTest or that are required system values. If you know that the information should not be changed by the end users, for either reason, please use the standard light green color to highlight the column. This is not an absolutely mandatory item, but will help the entire team achieve a better data load. With the volume of spreadsheets we/you work with, don't bother going back to change existing worksheets unless you have to work on them as a part of testing. As you run across them and encounter non-changeable values/columns, take the time to color them light-green.
