Since its inception, the Kudos Peer Recognition Program has been an overwhelming success! It has served as a terrific way for employees to show their appreciation to those faculty and staff members who have extended an extra measure of care to make our jobs a bit easier or more pleasant. Many have taken this opportunity to express their appreciation to fellow NSU employees for making NSU a great place to work.
Here's how the program works:
• Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year. To nominate a fellow NSU employee, please complete a nomination form (available on the NetNotes site or through the Office of Human Resources).
• All NSU employees are eligible for recognition. However, only regular Full-time or Part-time employees may submit nominations.
• Forms must be filled out COMPLETELY. Recognize only one person per form.
• Reasons for nomination must be stated in 25 words or more . Be as specific as possible: cite a particular incident/project or an ongoing attitude or behavior. (Incomplete forms will be disqualified.)
• Nominations must be individualized to each specific nominee. No mass produced entries will be honored.
• All nominations will be awarded anonymously. Nominees will be e-mailed a copy of the text indicating the reason for the nomination after the Kudos are delivered.
• Kudos nominations will be tallied regularly. Kudos certificates and bars will be distributed.
• Special recognition will be awarded during the annual Employee Appreciation Week festivities, when we will also crown the Big K-Ah-Udo.
• The Employee Appreciation Committee reserves the right to determine the validity of each nomination and to eliminate those nominations that do not meet the spirit of the activity. |
